Responsibilities

  • Drafting and negotiation of contracts, in particular: distribution and franchising, licensing, cobranding, terms of sale, distribution, real estate, consulting (including in relation to events), confidentiality, supply of goods and services (including ecommerce), logistics.
  • Management of privacy issues (GDPR, CCPA and other applicable regulations) with the support of the company's DPO and system administrator, in particular: drafting of privacy notice (employees, customers, etc.), appointments of data controller/processor, updating of processing register and monitoring of data retention period, data protection impact assessment, video surveillance.
  • Management of IP issues, in coordination with the LVMH IP Department, in particular: trademark, print and domain registration renewal procedures, litigation, opposition to trademark registration.
  • Timely and continuous legal advice, with a handson approach, to all departments of the Company.
  • Corporate activities, in particular: drafting of shareholders' and board of directors' minutes, powers and proxies, notary powers of attorney, management of extraordinary transactions in Italy and abroad, with the support of consultants also in relation to filings with the competent trade register.
  • Ordinary (in particular, real estate, transport, civil liability) and extraordinary (during special events/projects) management of insurance topics.
  • Litigation management and coordination with external lawyers.
  • Legal support for labor and health & safety topics.

Additional information:


Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience, possibly in structured companies from the fashion industry and/or salesretail or in international firms.
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, including legal English. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in an international context.
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage change.
