The team you will be a part of:

The Technician team provides in-home service on full line of Whirlpool's products ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty while providing instruction to customers on proper use and care of product.

This role in summary:

Operator for the management and execution of activities related to the Sample Shop, transport of samples between Whirlpool sites in the area and management of the GPO warehouse.

Support for some specific test procedures when needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

Modification of household appliances (washing machines, washer dryers, dryers) with assembly and disassembly of components and modification of the same.

It may be necessary to use various tools:
from the hoist to torque wrenches for tightening.

Modification and prototyping of components for the above (based on mechanical drawings, lists or indications from other colleagues) with the use of manual and measuring tools and machinery such as lathes, column drills, bending machines, welding machines.
Manual handling of components and appliances with a hand trolley.
Handling of packaged and unpackaged household appliances, with forklift trucks with forks or jaws and max capacities of 1400 kg also for loading and unloading from vehicles and placing products on multilevel shelves.
Transport of household appliances with company vehicles (such as Ducato or Doblò driving license B) to company sites or thirdparty laboratories (primarily in the Fabriano area) and any transport of goods purchased from local suppliers.
Warehouse management and product tracking using proprietary software for which it is necessary to define the registry of incoming products (attributing characteristics of the same), generate a physical barcode to be applied to them, and trace their positioning from time to time on a specific shelf or laboratory.
The operator must follow instructions, internal procedures as well as the legislation for everything concerning the internal safety and management rules of the transported products.
The operator must ensure basic maintenance of the tools at his disposal and must autonomously report the operational progress and any anomalies.
Possible support to the various activities of other laboratories.

Minimum requirements:

License B.
Qualification (License) and experience in the use of the forklift.
Knowledge and use of machine tools: lathe, bending machine, milling machine and welding.
The operator must be trained for High risk.
Autonomy in managing requests and ability to manage them efficiently is required (grouping of transports, organization of daily activities, management of consumables, etc.).

Preferred skills and experiences:

Education: Diploma or higher.
Preferred: possibility to work in shifts.
Optional skill, the ability to read / write English at a basic level.
Experience as a warehouse worker.
Experience as a machine tool operator.
