About the role

We are looking for our Aerospace Manager for the cluster of countries Italy, Malta, Greece and Cyprus

The responsibilities for this role include:
Use your significant and proven experience of underwriting/broking experience within Aerospace industry to underwrite, negotiate, retain and develop a market leading global Airline, Products & Airports portfolio including:

Developing key client & broker relationships
Promote our Products & Airports market profile
Competent to take the lead in meetings with clients & brokers
Identify Aerospace client & broker needs to implement new products
Targeting & developing new business opportunities
Collaborating with other parts of AIG to enhance our Aerospace products including crossselling
Seek improvements to products & services
Contributor to EMEA Business Plan, key strategies & taking ownership for implementing the key initiatives
Role model for upholding underwriting standards & procedures
Take charge of budgeting ,planning and monitoring the turnover of the Profit Center and be accountable of expenses and profit&loss results

What we're looking for:

Significant and proven experience of underwriting or broking experience within Aerospace industry
Detailed knowledge of general insurance as well as Aviation insurance products
Proven track record in business development and bringing products to market
Industry qualification an advantage fluent in Italian and English
Experience of budgeting processes
Experience of management of a team
