Role Purpose


The Operational Tax Specialist will support the FRA team acting as a Subject Matter Expert service oriented to enable service lines to deliver a high-performing organization and contribute to implement to improvements/standard solutions while cultivating a customer service focus culture.


  • The Operational Tax Specialist will be responsible to provide expert advice for the specific Tax area in the FRA Team.
    Your Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering a full range of tax activities in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.
  • Responsible for providing accurate operational information and advice to support decision making of business managers.
  • Liaise with the Tax team on tax regulation changes and various taxation issues to ensure processes and controls are implemented or enhanced according to compliance policies and requirements.
  • Provide accurate and relevant information to assess market risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor tax law changes, remain up to date and advise the Statutory Manager on emerging issues.
  • Prepare significant journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Identify new opportunities for process improvements and improve the efficiency and control environment.
  • Perform periodend activities in accordance with the financial close schedules and the established guidelines.
  • Take initiatives and provide support for the Statutory manager on ad hoc tasks

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Certified Finance/Accounting or equivalent degree
  • 24 years' finance accouting experience, preferably in Big 4 public accounting, healthcare industry or large corporation with shared service concept
  • SAP knowledge
  • Languages: English & Italian are both mandatory
