What's The Role?:

Based in Bologna and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this is a key role tasked with meeting allocation obligations of Zespri European kiwifruit to world markets through Zespri systems during the northern hemisphere supply season.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure the realization of supply coordination targets i.e. fulfilment of Zespri markets orders in full, on time and in spec, respecting Zespri allocation criteria;
Coordinate and fulfil fruit deliveries into European market through daily coordination with European IBP team;
Liase with market demand team for season planning and day to day adjustment;
Support Supply Chain Manager in Operations and in Hayward procurement program achievement
In collaboration with Zespri market allocations team proactively manage and mitigate potential supply issues through consistent and regular communication;
Communicate proactively with Supplier operations to understand available inventory by region, to facilitate optimal delivery to market orders.

Who Are You?:

We are ideally looking for a tertiary qualified individual (Economics) who has a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

You will also posses:

Between 13 years of work experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
An understanding of SAP
Power BI and BI Tools competencies (advantageous)
Able to effectively communicate in Italian and English (written & oral) with French or Greek an advantage
