What's The Role?:


Based in Bologna and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this is a key role tasked with meeting allocation obligations of Zespri European kiwifruit to world markets through Zespri systems during the northern hemisphere supply season.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the realization of supply coordination targets i.e. fulfilment of Zespri markets orders in full, on time and in spec, respecting Zespri allocation criteria;
  • Coordinate and fulfil fruit deliveries into European market through daily coordination with European IBP team;
  • Liase with market demand team for season planning and day to day adjustment;
  • Support Supply Chain Manager in Operations and in Hayward procurement program achievement
  • In collaboration with Zespri market allocations team proactively manage and mitigate potential supply issues through consistent and regular communication;
  • Communicate proactively with Supplier operations to understand available inventory by region, to facilitate optimal delivery to market orders.

Who Are You?:

We are ideally looking for a tertiary qualified individual (Economics) who has a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint


You will also posses:

  • Between 13 years of work experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
  • An understanding of SAP
  • Power BI and BI Tools competencies (advantageous)
  • Able to effectively communicate in Italian and English (written & oral) with French or Greek an advantage
