The
Team Marine, Cargo & Logistics is a leading adviser to the maritime industry on risk and insurance issues. Clients such as manufacturers and shippers, commodity traders, freight forwarders and road hauliers, terminal operators, shipowners and shipyards


With specialised marine expertise backed by industry-leading data, analytics, and benchmarking, we help determine and prioritise exposures and identify cost-effective, often hard-to-find insurance solutions, developing innovative risk management solutions specifically for the maritime industry.


What can you expect?

  • A journey of growth and acceleration that includes both technical and theorical training moments to be alternated with onthejob training sessions with the steady coaching of three different key figures: a Tutor, a Mentor and a Buddy;
  • An induction training where you will discover Marsh's organizational structure and strategic vision in details as well as meeting our Senior Leaders and their Teams;
  • A Career progression within Marsh: starting with an initial 6month internship finalized to a 2/3 years apprenticeship, you will have a chance to accelerate your career through an employment agreement, that will be tailored upon your performance and dedication.

We will count on you to support in:

  • building and maintaining relationships with clients and serve as primary point of contact;
- providing day-to-day service to clients in Marine industry to ensure that their risk management needs are appropriately met;
- assisting in the design of insurance solutions to meet client needs and ensure client satisfaction;
- using significant risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to develop placement solutions that meet client needs;
- interfacing closely with client executives and client teams to support client retention and new business production;
- keeping abreast of changing insurance and risk management market conditions
- ensuring compliance with our business protocols and local regulatory requirements.

What you need to have:


  • University Degree, preferably in Economics (Management, Finance, Risk Management, etc.), Law, Management Engineering, International Relations, Political and Social Science, achieved within the last 12 months or close to obtaining and a brilliant academic path;
  • Fluency in English beyond that in Italian;
  • Consolidated advanced skills in using the main ITtools (especially Microsoft Office Package, Excel and Powerpoint);
  • A strong interest in the area of insurance brokerage and risk management and in the Marine sector.
