Mission:

The Head of Sales (HSM) has 2 primary roles:

  • leading the Sales Team department overseeing activities of the Sales professionals and monitoring performance
- promoting cash management products & services to identified strategic corporate customers and targeted high-potential prospective clients


The role of HSM is a data-driven role that requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the client base, the competitive market, and an ability to analyze sales department performance.

The HSM role also involves the management of external partners and collaborations with numerous internal departments.

Creating seamless working relationships with Corporate Credit teams as well as with Coverage teams, both locally and internationally, is an essential part of the job.


Tasks and responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership over the Sales department and be in charge of developing sales targets for the department, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the department's performance against targets
  • Achieve/exceed annual sales targets, develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and fertilize the customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, longlasting customer relationships, partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives and effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Monitor and accompany the Sales Team commercial action with the target to boost the business line performances

Profile required:


Studies & experience:


  • College degree and upwards
  • Proven Sales Executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Previous experience as a HSM or Sales Executive

Language skills:


  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage

Technical, operational & Soft skills:


  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as an HSM, developing clientfocused, differentiated and achievable solutions work well Ability to work well under the pressure of strict deadlines
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Persuasive and charismatic
