Overall Context

The Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is part of the wider Group Finance function which comprises different teams in the areas of Group Tax and Treasury, Corporate Banking, Group FP&A, IFRS Consolidated Financial Reporting, IR & CF.

The Group FP&A team is organized around two main drivers:

the geographical perspective, on one side, with a focus on Regional performances, and the functional perspective, on the other side, with specific Group FP&A teams dedicated to the different business areas (Global Strategic Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain etc.), with a strong business partnership focus.


General Description of the role


The role is part of the Group FP&A Supply Chain team which partners the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Lead Team and GSC teams as far as financial processes and business performance are concerned.


Key Responsibilities
In this role you will be the Finance Business Partner of the Global Indirect Procurement Directors and support the Group FP&A Manager Procurement for:

  • Acting as key business partner and advisor to Global Indirect Procurement team, with specific focus on coordinating the Procurement teams through the cooperation within the FP&A community, evaluating and tracking the productivity action plans.
  • Actively look for potential savings and opportunities to ensure delivery of targets.
  • Design new process performance measuring model and procedures for Productivity projects, defining operational KPI's and consequent monitoring.
  • Ensure the reliability of figures, provide a deep understanding of business trends through variance analysis.
  • Elaborate Global reporting providing valuable analysis to facilitate Procurement management decision making.
  • Supporting Indirect Procurement in controlling and managing the contracts with deep analysis and to constantly track the cost impact and variations.

Global Procurement team, FP&A Supply Chain teams at regional and local level, rest of Group FP&A team; other Group FP&A functions stakeholders


External:
consultants and providers


Experience Required- 1+ years of FP&A experience with focus on Supply Chain preferred.

  • Experience in consumer goods industries preferred.
  • Understanding of COGS and key Supply Chain performance drivers.
  • Proven experience in working on challenging projects and trackrecord of delivering excellent results to deadlines.
  • Familiar with working in a matrix organization.

Education / Professional Qualifications- Degree in Economics/Business Administration or similar.

  • Fluency of English is a must, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel user.

Skills

Functional- Excellent skills and consolidated experience in financial planning & reporting techniques and methods, including KPIs management in the area of Supply Chain.- Deep economic and financial knowledge especially FMCG P&L structure and COGS.

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of business processes in the FMCG industry.
  • Deep SAP knowledge, BI/BW and BPC knowledge is a plus.
