I am a professional with over 20 years of experience in managing the full life-cycle of complex international projects related to the Oil & Gas industry; I have a strong engineering background and extensive experience in purchasing, production, sales, and customer service. This has allowed me to develop a broad and wise vision of project management.

I recently completed an Executive MBA, which provided me with a comprehensive understanding of business processes and emphasized the importance of evaluating the value chain in service delivery for clients. This training has helped me to appreciate how each operational phase impacts the final service quality and has equipped me with the tools to identify areas where added value can be created.

This important achievement was confirmed during my work experience at Velan, where I collaborated closely with clients, which allowed me to gain insight into what constitutes added value for the end users. This direct interaction gave me a clearer understanding of which aspects are seen as sufficiently valuable to warrant a premium investment from the customer. 

As R&D and Engineering Manager, I developed a comprehensive strategic vision to foster innovation and ensure the successful integration of technical and business objectives. I spearheaded creation and implementation of innovative solutions, aligning research and development activities with the company’s overarching goals. By fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the engineering team, I optimized workflows, enhanced product development processes, and ensured projects were delivered on time and within budget.

Additionally, I effectively balanced short-term operational demands with long-term strategic initiatives, ensuring resources were allocated efficiently and that technical advancements translated into measurable business value. This experience helped me develop excellent communication and negotiation skills, essential for working effectively with suppliers or customers and negotiating favorable contract terms.

As the director of the Aftermarket Business Unit, I managed Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Project Management, and Service activities, ensuring integration across functions to deliver competitive solutions and maximize customer satisfaction.
