Michael Dejene Gutta

s a driven and ambitious business professional with a strong background in Business Administration 
and Information Systems, I am currently pursuing a master's degree at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. 
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in various industries. 
I have owned and operated a successful social media retail business, where I was responsible for 
managing all aspects of the business, including marketing, sales, and operations. Furthermore, I have 
experience working on construction sites assisting with various operations, including managing people, handling bureaucratic matters, 
and maintaining records. 
Previously, I worked as a Social Media Manager at iCog-ACC in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where I managed 
social media efforts and worked on digital marketing projects. My strong interpersonal skills, prioritization abilities, 
and excellent communication skills have enabled me to be efficient and effective 
in my work. I am confident in my ability to make sound judgments and decisions, and I am dedicated to 
achieving my career goals of gaining expertise in international management, marketing, and 
operations. 
Currently, I am gaining further hands-on experience as a Business Development Intern at VeniSIA, where 
I support the growth and success of the company by working closely with the business development 
team. My responsibilities include conducting market research, creating presentations and reports, contributing to marketing and sales campaigns, 
and attending networking events and industry 
conferences. Through my drive, enthusiasm, and strong communication and interpersonal skills, I have become an integral member of the team and have 
helped bring new business opportunities to life. 

I have gained diverse experience in various roles, starting as an owner and operator of a small startup online business in Addis Ababa, where I developed and implemented strategies to promote the business and oversaw daily operations. As an operational assistant at a family-owned construction site, I was responsible for managing various aspects of the construction process and ensuring that all activities were conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

I also worked as a Social Media Manager at a company focused on developing marketing strategies and plans, where I managed social media accounts on various platforms and implemented marketing plans and strategies. Currently, I am working as a Business Development Intern at VeniSIA in Venice, where I am supporting the growth and success of the company by conducting market research, creating presentations and reports, contributing to marketing and sales campaigns, and attending networking events and industry conferences.

Throughout my experiences, I have demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. I am dedicated to continuously improving my skills and knowledge to achieve my professional goals, and I am confident in my ability to make a positive impact in any organization.

I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Information Systems from Addis Ababa University - School of Commerce in Ethiopia from 2018 to 2021. This program gave me a solid foundation in business principles and information systems, preparing me for a career in business management and entrepreneurship.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Global Development and Entrepreneurship at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Italy. This program has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the global economic landscape and the skills needed to develop successful entrepreneurial ventures. I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in this field.
