Project & Program Oversight: Oversee the planning, delivery, and governance of major IT projects, including ERP and business systems implementations, with a focus on operational excellence and risk management.

Key responsibilities:

As head of a new business unit in the logistics and distribution sector, I play a crucial role in developing Microsoft solutions for the market. I contribute to defining the strategy, goals, and necessary activities to achieve them.

I demonstrated a talent for understanding client needs and providing tailored, innovative solutions to enhance their business processes. I increased revenue and company growth by establishing long-term relationships and partnerships with existing clients, while also contributing to their digital transformation efforts. 

In addition to business development and client management, my emphasis on implementing high-tech and innovative solutions has been a critical factor in the success of the business unit. Key responsibilities:

As the responsible manager for the ERP business unit cost center, I have successfully managed operations up to the first contribution margin.

I have led efforts to integrate and develop the internal projects costing model towards the parent company's model, resulting in a more efficient and streamlined process.

I have developed and shared project governance standards methodology, reorganized the project management structure, and integrated the portfolio management system with PWA. I have been responsible for managing the budget process for all production cost centers and collaborating with the COO and head of HR of the parent company to recruit project governance resources.

I have led strategies for business development on the customer portfolio and evaluated ongoing sales negotiations, supporting the sales structure during the pre-sale process. I have reviewed the technical aspects and validated the forecasted project cost evaluation.

Key responsibilities:

I was responsible for coordinating operational activities in the technical field and assigning resources to projects. I successfully managed a team of 80-110 people, effectively delegating responsibilities and ensuring that projects were completed on time and within budget.

I also led efforts to improve task control systems and design production unit planning systems, resulting in a more efficient and streamlined process. I was responsible for developing recruitment requirements in line with the company's growth goals and delivery requirements, and I successfully identified and developed internal investment and capitalization on market projects.

Furthermore, I conducted project profitability analysis, ensuring that projects were profitable and met the company's financial targets.

Key responsibilities:

I was responsible for coordinating activities to ensure that assigned projects met cost and revenue objectives while staying within the contract perimeter. I closely monitored project timelines and applied project methodologies to ensure that projects were delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. I also identified project risks and implemented corrective actions to ensure that projects stayed on track.

I conducted business process analysis and designed solutions that adhered to best practices, while also meeting the client's specific business requirements. I worked closely with clients to understand their needs and to design custom solutions that aligned with their strategic goals.

I oversaw the implementation of these solutions, evaluating standard processes where possible and implementing custom requirements to meet the client's specific needs. My strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in project management methodologies were crucial in ensuring that projects were successfully completed.

Unichips (San Carlo group): as Solution Architect and Senior business consultant I managed analysis of business processes and the design of the solution in T&L area with 200 warehouses. The project was focused on reengineering communication channels between ERP and legacy systems and was characterised by a deep development of the Advanced Warehouse Logistics (WHS) and transport cost calculation (TMS); these modules have been expanded and made available in the ERP with intercompany flows. I focused on analysing and improving business processes for clients implementing ERP platforms.

I also conducted interface analysis and developed interfaces between Microsoft Dynamics ERP and other applications, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

I performed inventory layout analysis and sizing to optimize the use of available resources and minimize waste. I also developed software for the electricity market, using the Microsoft Access platform, to manage logistics flows, prepare billing data, and balance logistics flows.

 

Planning and logistic manager

Plati elettro forniture s.p.a. 03/2007 – 01/2009

I analysed production requirements and planned material supply for production sites including Plati Italia, Plati Hungary, Plati Poland, Plati China, Plati Ukraine, and Italian subcontractors. I managed Italian subcontractors and coordinated inbound and outbound logistic activities.

I also served as the Process Owner for the area of operations during the Microsoft Dynamics 4.0 ERP implementation project. Additionally, I was the head of implementation for the planning and scheduling software (Txtmake), which involved integrating the software with the ERP system. This solution was later worldwide adopted by the “Brembo” (disc brake) company.

Plati Electronics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. China Aug/2006 – Feb/2007

I was responsible for developing and implementing a production cycle management application tailored to the specific needs of the Chinese plant. I optimized logistics flows between the Chinese plant and Italian headquarters, selected new Chinese strategic suppliers, and reorganized and optimized production lines to increase efficiency and reduce line setup times.

I oversaw quality control and provided support to the Italian headquarters for managing customer complaints.
