Main responsibilities:


  • Contributes to timely and accurate financial reporting:
  • Ensure preparation and filing of annual Italian statutory accounts with local authorities. Handles Journal Entries, Reconciliations of the accounts.
  • Interactions with Finance Shared Service (GFS) on locally managed matters that have an impact on the monthly close of the US accounts (i.e. Tax).
  • Manage compliance of Indirect Taxes (VAT, property tax, waste disposal, other taxes) and Withholding (770 withholding tax return).
  • Contributes to ad hoc projects to meet Emerson requirements and business needs
  • Cooperate closely with Compliance function, Internal and External Auditors to ensure successful Audits.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • University Degree in Business Administration or Finance;
  • At least 3 years experience in a Finance/ Accounting /Audit role in multinational contest;
  • Good knowledge ITA GAAP (US GAAP is a Plus);
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong PC skills including Excel. SAP and Hyperion user knowledge a plus;
