Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.


You will work in collaboration with the Optics Industrial Manufacturing Lead, following the guidelines to the manage the External Manufacturing and the Suppliers, accordingly with the Optics Supply Chain target (inventory, operational cost and efficiency).


The Team will work together to define proper KPIs to monitor the EMSs performances, define improvement plans, guide inventory and replenishment strategies, in order to ensure optimum coverage of production plans optimizing the inventory levels.


What you will learn and contribute to
The Optics Supply Chain Demand Planning is responsible for the following main activities:

  • Define a Global demand plan, working in collaboration with the Regional Business Centers
  • Create Master Production Plans, in line with customers forecasts and orders, in order to fulfill Customer requirements
  • Manage and collaborate with the External Manufacturing (EMS) and Suppliers to drive execution of the production master plans
  • Manage the Order fulfill execution, to ensure timely shipments to Customer accordingly with the needs


In this context, within the Master Production Planning activities, we are looking for a Supply Chain Planner who will take the management responsibility of a specific range of product portfolio, dealing with an EMS partner.

The Supply Chain Planner is also responsible to manage the end-to-end relationship with the EMS:

  • Share a forecast to the EMS to drive and plan its production;
  • Monitor the production execution within the EMS, dealing with production capacity and material shortages;
  • Define the EMS delivery plan accordingly with the Nokia requirements and needs

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Experience in industrial activities and/or supply chain activities
  • Ability to communicate with multiple actors such as Demand Mgrs, Purchasing, Call off, Suppliers
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Project and continuous improvements oriented
  • Product knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic statistics is a plus
