- Lead and manage a team of application specialists and field engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the highest level of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to build quotations of industrial systems out of user requirements
- Support the sales team in converting prospect clients by acting as first point of contact for technical questions and advise.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the delivery of technical support, application guidance, and field service to meet the needs of our clients in the bioprocessing industry.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering teams to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex customer inquiries and issues, working closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance, efficiency, and effectiveness in delivering exceptional customer service and support.
- Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and training to team members to foster professional growth and development.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, biotechnology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in technical support, application engineering, or field service, preferably in the bioprocessing/biotechnology industry and/or the Food & Beverage industry.
- Proven experience in team leadership, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Project Management experience is a plus
- High level of structured and diligent work organization
- Strong technical expertise in laboratory, pilot, and industrial equipment (bioreactors and fermenters), along with proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build rapport with customers.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and resolving technical issues.
- Solid knowledge of applicable regulatory and quality Standards (CE/ UL/ GMP, FDA, ...) preferred
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed for field service and support activities.
- Fluent in English and Italian

Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager for our Application and Field Service Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team dedicated to providing exceptional technical support, application guidance, and field service to our clients in the bioprocessing industry.
