    What you'll do:

    This position is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of product and application solution specification strategies within the Italian market across the Eaton B-Line and Crouse-Hind product portfolios.

    To manage key account relationships with industrial EPC contractors, Owners and specifiers within the Italian market and others as required.

    The primary market focus is the Industrial Oil & Gas, Power and Renewable sectors.

    The incumbent will execute cross-functionally across the organization to drive profitable specification sales and margin growth for Crouse-Hinds and B-Line products and services.

    To help equitably resolve gaps in service, performance, or quality; support the development of new product strategies; and/or facilitate business entry into new markets.


    Drive Eaton B-Line and Eaton Crouse-Hinds product demand through specification with End-Users/Owners, Engineering Procurement and Construction Firms (EPC's), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Design and Build Contractors (DB).

    Manage these activities throughout Italy while implementing KPIs developed by Regional Leadership.

    Support existing/global sales teams with technical support and product applicationsResponsible for regional strategic planning:
    Work with regional leadership and other resources to define key project pipeline looking forward 2-5 years.
    Implement account responsibility along with specification KPIs for key accounts.
    Key account penetration, relationship development and relationship management.

    Coordination with global team on domestic EPC officesEffectively develop and deliver technical seminars for End Users/Owners, EPC's, OEM's, D/B contractors, sales personnel, and distributors.

    Maintain documentation and sales tools for use in product presentations and technical training seminars to key accounts.

    Develop and implement a specification sales growth strategy Maintain current and required knowledge of the marketplace to be thoroughly appraised of all new or modified product opportunities as well as developments that may impact products or ability to specify and sell them.


    Qualifications:
    The candidate will have a degree in engineering or equivalent trade qualification\degree in engineering from an accredited university.

    5+ years-experience working within an End User, EPC or OEM in the Energy and Power markets, or a Specification Engineering, Design Engineering, Engineering or Sales position within electrical industry

    MBA an advantageSkills:
    Proven examples of technical design ability, specification, and application solution development within an industrial are essential. EPC experience preferred.
    Ability to travel up to 50% of timeStrong technical evaluation, technical consultation, and interpretation skillsProficient in the use of MS 3653D and 2D design knowledge will experience/ability to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsTrade qualifications in mechanical and/or electrical engineering/construction will be consideredExperience and knowledge of Hazardous Area standards and design principles#LI-AP3
