About San Domenico Palace Taormina, a Four Seasons Hotel
One of the world's most legendary hotels, San Domenico Palace invites you to embark on an epic journey into history. The Role of Steward
Reporting into the Executive Steward or Banqueting & Stewarding Manager, you will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of china, glassware, silverware, kitchen equipment and kitchen production areas, always maintaining a safe work environment, safely utilizing and storing cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials while assisting with inventory of china, glass and silver. You will ensure that each outlet and function have an adequate supply of clean dishes and silverware and keep the kitchen in line with HACCP rules and PWT Standards.
Our Ideal Steward will have
At least high school education and a special talent and passion for ensuring you and the team deliver the highest of standards of service consistently, ensuring exceptional hygiene practices and high care to our internal and external guests. You should have attention to detail, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, the ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills and be a team player. Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean dishwashing machine, sinks, floor cleaning equipment, and silver burnisher.
You must have fluency in Italian.
This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal. The candidate must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
