Global Corporate & Commercial is the Generali Group unit developing P&C business and insurance services for medium and large companies. The unit acts on a global scale and deploys an integrated approach at Group level with a central management team and specialized teams active in individual countries. Through GC&C, Generali aims to become a key world player in the corporate-commercial segment.
We are looking for a
GC&C Communication Social Responsibility Lead in Milan.
Mission
To guarantee the promotion, implementation and monitoring of Sustainability Policies and practices at GC&C, developing a new approach in line with the Group's positioning.
Main tasks:
- Activate the GC&C Sustainability Roadmap and framework for an impact driven strategy
- Steer and support GC&C business to respond and anticipate ESG trends/regulations and add the view of the impact on people and planet
- Develop GC&C sustainability goals and frameworks laying the foundations for integrating sustainability into core GC&C business
- Partner with GC&C business to develop initiatives allowing to meet sustainability goals
- Protects GC&C/Group reputation managing alerts regarding sustainability risks
- Engage employees to sustain change management towards sustainability
- Support monitoring and reporting activities to foster continuous improvement
- Align with Group Sustainability Team and cascade initiative/procedure and align with external stakeholders to ensure visibility of the GC&C achievements
In addition:
Support the Communication office in ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- University degree
- Excellent English communication and proven writing capabilities
- Minimum 7 years' experience in similar CSR roles (B2B experience is a plus) or in Casualty/property insurance business technical field
- Knowledge of economics, financial and insurance industry
- Previous experience in a multicultural and international environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of communication concepts & tools is a plus
- Advanced level experience with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders
- Strategic thinking
