    Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Secure engineering execution of orders (engineering to order) and fulfil all technical requirements with adequate, proven and possibly standardized technical solutions, managing the complexity and the high degree of customization and adaptation to the application requirements
  • lead a team of highly qualified Product Engineers with long-term experience in the application sector (industrial bakery), with expertise in the areas of mechanical design and automation
  • effective and efficient utilization of skilled resources
  • responsibility for product cost, product cost optimization related to order execution
  • responsibility for cost center and personnel cost management

    • Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Masters ́ Degree (university) in mechanical engineering or equivalent educational level
  • min 10 years' experience in similar functions (5 years as a manager)
  • deep application knowhow, end-to-end process expertise
  • experience mainly in relevant industry field (food / bakery sector preferred)
  • problem solving management skills
  • ability to handle complex technical situations and challenges
  • long term international environment exposure and experience
  • deep business sense with developed focus on customer needs and fulfilment of customer expectations
  • capability to face directly customers especially in critical situations and to support the sales process with technical support
  • keeps the overall BU needs and targets in focus
  • is seen as a positive leader and example within his organization, is open-minded and solution oriented
  • treats people with respect, irrespective of their status, hierarchy level, heritage or background
  • develops solution options, even in complex situations or when under pressure
