    Reporting directly to the Head of Consumer & Prescription Sales Management, we are looking for a Key Account Manager for our division in Italy. This person will be responsible for achieving the defined sales, distribution and growth objectives for the assigned top clients and ensuring that the company strategic guidelines are followed, while promoting Company principles and values.

  • Achieve sales, distribution and assortment objectives of existing products and launches of Consumer and Prescription portfolio, closely collaborating with Head of Sales
  • Agree with Head of Sales the split by key customer and by channel of sales and distribution objectives, ensuring development and implementation of proper action plans, on quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Actively contribute to the definition of the commercial policy and the sell-out plans by key customer and by channel. He/she ensures proper execution and implementation of the agreed policy, in terms of discounts, economic conditions, trade budgets and promotional plans.
  • Provide accurate sales and trade budget forecasts and constantly monitor key customers performance versus target, in order to timely identify deviations and to propose necessary actions to ensure objective achievement.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with key customers according with company guidelines
  • Build up durable and trustworthy relationship with key customers aiming at achieving a mutual long-term satisfaction.
  • Provide regular analysis of sales/ stock in trade and budget statistics, track the agreed sales KPIs, share actual results versus targets addressing deviations with adequate action plans to ensure objective achievement.
  • Evaluate and recruit potential retailer partners to fully capitalize pharmacy market changes.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitors' activities, market dynamics and new product launches, drive shopper insights promptly informing all relevant stakeholders in the company, including marketing and regulatory department.
  • Ensure full professional synergy with Head of Sales and Marketing team taking all necessary initiatives to facilitate information sharing, data exchanges and common action plan development, in order to reach Company objectives.
  • Proactively self-train by reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations in order to search opportunities, outline problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • University Degree with a Scientific and Economic background would be a plus.
  • Strong background in Pharma/Medical Device/Cosmetic Business in Italy
  • Knowledge of the OTC/Dermatology business
  • Knowledge of wholesales, chains & Network channels
  • Strong background in Sales B2B in different Regions
  • Leadership skills
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good level of English
