HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, ITALY, PORTUGAL AND GREECE:
Main responsibilities:
The
Human Resources Manager is responsible for
delivering quality HR programs and services to the CHEP Italian, Portuguese and Greek businesses.
The position holder is responsible for
providing strategic and operational services and advice across all facets of HR including workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, salary review, engagement, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, recognition, talent management, and learning & development.
Major/Key Accountabilities:
- Provide responsive support and advice to managers on policies, programs, and processes
- Engage with the business on workforce planning and development including talent management and succession planning
- Partner with the business to develop and implement people and organizational solutions to influence the culture and performance of the business
- Coach and support managers to develop their teams through capability uplift and engagement
- As a member of the Business Unit leadership team, identify strategies to address peoplerelated issues/needs
- Oversee the execution of annual processes including Optimising Performance, Salary Review, and Pulse survey and actions
- Lead the continuous improvement and enhancement of HR services to improve outcomes for the business and ensure compliance
- Partner with the HR Director, HR Shares Services Lead, and Country Leadership team to align global HR service delivery to local business needs and priorities
- Partner with Centres of Expertise (COE) to support Reward and Talent & Learning initiatives with managers and employees
- Lead and manage team members to deliver results and develop in role (where applicable)
- Manage Health & Safety Employee requirements (according to Italian law)
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Master's degree in Human Resources or in a relevant Human Resources technical discipline
- Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in business or related discipline
- 5+ years of related experience in Human Resources
- Experience with HR systems, Workday preferable
- Demonstrated leadership experience
