Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.


The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).


Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.


Position:


The Games Family Accreditation Manager will:

  • Plan and execute the Games Family Accreditation process, which includes registration, processing and issuing accreditation to the Games Family populations: IOC, IPC, IFs, Broadcasters (including OBS), Press, TOP and Domestic Partners, Olympic Family, and Dignitaries.
  • Manage the endtoend accreditation process for Games Family participants supporting the accreditation system configuration and testing as required (quotas, transferable, Guest Passes, etc.).
  • Coordinate the accreditation process for the entire Games Family for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
  • Identify, register, and issue accreditation to all members of the Games Family (IOC, IPC, NOCs, NPCs, IFs, Media, Dignitaries, etc.).
  • Development and implementation of accreditation policies for Games Family in accordance with the Olympic Charter, the IOC and IPC guidelines, and the Host City Contract. This includes facilitating entry process for certain Games Family populations.
  • Direct and manage the Games Family Coordinators and their teams.
  • Liaise with the relevant government authorities to coordinate the entry process of the Games Family into the host country.
  • Coordinate the accreditation process across the dedicated venues, including DRP and F-DRM with the Games Family Accreditation Team, NCS and SEQ at the Olympic Village in Milan and other satellite villages.
  • Lead the Guest Pass process.
  • Responsible for engaging directly with internal and external stakeholders to secure an efficient communication channel with games.

Requirements:


  • Indepth knowledge of the Olympic accreditation process, service levels and specificities of this category.
  • Accreditation experience at a management level in at least one other global multisport event.
  • Proven project, risk and business management skills, and a working knowledge of project management tools.
  • Proven ability to influence decisionmakers and successfully facilitate joint decisionmaking.
  • Proven ability to manage a multilayered project independently and take ownership of operations and procedures.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with other departments.
  • Fluency in English mandatory.
  • Italian, Spanish, French and other languages desired.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
