Position Summary


Nespresso is leader in the portioned coffee market industry, as such it is mandatory to constantly be aware and anticipate the macro-trends that influence the distribution channels of the coffee market (Modern Trade, Online, Branded Stores, Coffee Specialist etc), and to check the status and the direction of the competition of both Nespresso System with compatibles capsules, and Other systems (Lavazza, Illy, Bialetti etc).


Support the entire marketing team and organization with specific market and customer analysis aimed at identifying trends, growth contribution and understanding the market environment.


A day in the life of...

  • Support the Business Market Analyst Developing analysis and insights that highlight opportunities and identifies emerging trends and risks resulting in a deeper understanding of the category.
  • Identify relationship between coffee market and coffee machine market
  • Deliver general category management reporting to highlight business performance, as well as perform ad hoc analysis to support category initiatives and needs.
  • Support the Business Market Analyst Developing for competition analysis and reporting.
  • Support the Business Market Analyst Developing for presentations of market analysis and insight to local and international stakeholders.
  • Support the Business Market Analyst Developing in sales forecasting process (coffee and machines).
  • Optimize and Innovate on the existing tools and analysis to streamline workflow.

What will make you successful

  • Graduated in Economics, Statistics, Finance
  • Developed analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Result and detailoriented, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Nielsen, GFK and Stackline database knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong learning capability on new business knowledge, business processes, analytics tools/techniques and methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to act independently.
  • Ability to innovate and question existing ways of working.
  • Good Excel and Powerpoint skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
