Protection, Health & Accident area is part of the Group Life & Health Insurance department of the GHO and is responsible to steer the implementation of the Group Life and Health strategy, also in terms of product approvals, volumes, mix and profitability, ensuring that Group priorities are fully embedded in the BUs action plans; support the definition and monitor the execution of key technical initiatives implemented by the BUs.


Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Support the Head of Protection, Health & Accident in steering/ contributing to Group strategic projects by overseeing these initiatives from development through successful execution;
  • Support the Head of Protection, Health & Accident in identifying and following up on the key business priorities of function;
  • Support the preparation of documents and reports on the KPIS evolution and the main priorities of the Protection, Health & Accident business lines;
  • Execute the product approval process for Protection, Health & Accident products;
  • Liaise with the Business Units to steer and control the development of the Protection, Health & Accident business at local level by analyzing performance indicators and related technical levers across product design, pricing, underwriting and claim areas;
  • Scrutinize the key business and competitive trends at both global and local level, and the related opportunities and transformation needs across the value chain.

Must have:

  • 35 years of working experience in consulting firms or equivalent position in insurance companies, with specific expertise in Protection/Health/ Accident
  • Degree in Economics, Engineering, Actuarial Science or equivalent
  • Good understanding of insurance business and technical background
  • Excellent communication in written and verbal form
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives, strong project management skills
  • Strong business sense and ability to order priorities
  • Ability to work with sensitive information
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • English fluent
