    Job Description

    Sr Data Center Operations Analyst Italy (Rome).

    Data Center Operations Management: oversees planning, hardware installation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. Manages systems performance, equipment monitoring, and vendor relationships. Responsible for capacity planning, process improvement, compliance, and scalability. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel. Involves internal or external client focus, company-hosted solutions, and project-based jobs. What you get to do in this role:

    • Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center engineers.
    • Manage day-to-day data center operations efficiently, including queue management and hardware logistics.
    • Act as a subject matter expert in all aspects of data center operations, especially in DCIM integrations.
    • Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met.
    • Report key metrics to peer teams.
    • Inspire team improvement in processes, technology innovation, and automation.
    • Manage Large Scale Events and Incident management, including communication with executive stakeholders.
    • Develop workflows for data center operations.
    • Have a strong understanding of critical Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure.
    • Recommend and document policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
    • Maintain the on-call schedule and coordinate absence and vacations.
    • Strive for continuous improvement in Customer Experience quality and quantity of services.
    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you have:

    • 5+ years of experience in data center operations management.
    • Experience in planning, hardware installation, optimization, and maintenance of the computer/data center.
    • Overseeing systems performance, equipment monitoring, and vendor relationship management experience.
    • Capacity planning and continual assessments experience for the data center.
    • Good knowledge of data center facilities and infrastructure, including power, HVAC, cabling, rack management, and security.
    • Experience in managing vendors in a data center environment.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask with unrelated issues.
    • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
    • General documentation skills, particularly in technical processes and standards.
    • Knowledge and experience in ITIL process methodologies is a plus.
    • Proven ability to work independently in ambiguous situations with a successful track record.
    • Excellent communication, customer focus, problem-solving, conflict management, time management, and interpersonal skills.
    • A deep passion for Sustainability to support global impact responsibilities.
