Your 'day to day':


As a Manager Factory Logistics you will manage, plan and coordinate Factory Logistics Department, including at multi-sites markets if applicable, that is responsible for all materials, and Finished goods's Warehousing, internal logistics and Tax Stickers, ensuring these activities are performed in control and according to applicable law and practices and in a most cost efficient way.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that LSP and own department employees comply with and adhere to local safety measures, fire regulations, hygienic and propertysecurity regulations, policies and procedures in order to increase and maintain health and safety awareness, establish healthy and safe environment for the employees and service provider(s) and prevent damage and loss of the company assets
  • Perform on a regular basis housekeeping and safety audits to validate storage conditions, sanitation and product integrity according to PMI warehousing guidelines. Propose and ensure implementation of corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure work conditions in department in compliance with norms defined by local legislation
  • Organize business processes at assigned work area in compliance with Sustainability rules, policies and procedures. Evaluate risks at work places, take appropriate measures for risks reduction
  • Conduct safety instruction, safety traineeship, safety knowledge assessment for subordinates in cases as required by applicable legislation
  • Ensure a steady waste removal and disposal process, which performed and developed in a cost efficient manner and targeted to reach more friendly environmental process
  • Work in close cooperation with Sustainability department to develop and improve departmental safety and job procedures
  • Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture in LSP and PMI Factory logistics team by fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Warehousing&Logistics RTT/Open+/IOS

QUALITY

  • Organize, manage and control all warehousing activities for Leaf, DIMs/Semis and FGs in order to ensure effective and efficient achievement of business objectives and market requirements. Ensures that all materials and FG's movements, safe storage, inventories, and destructions are in compliance with local regulations and PMI policies and procedures. Guarantee uninterrupted support in delivery of materials to manufacturing zone, as well as to ensure proper WH facilities utilization and development, supporting the long term production and shipment plans. When applicable, ensure control of tax stickers movements, safe storage, inventories, reconciliation, returns to market and destructions in compliance with local regulations and PMI policies and procedures. Define in cooperation with QA reps and relevant stakeholders, the quality strategy to prevent quality incidents, to reduce and eliminate non conformities in the process and to guarantee product integrity. DELIVERY

  • Manage the third party logistics service providers (LSP) to maximize internal warehouse capacity and resource utilization continuously improving inventory management quality and costs. Monitor & Control performance of external partners according to contractual terms and PMI standards. Organize regular KPIs reviews with LSP to monitor and ensure proper actions from the provider to meet and exceed Service Level Agreement (SLA). Negotiate contracts which would ensure availability of suitable space for finished goods & materials storage as well as adaptability to ever changing business requirements at optimal cost level. Continuously monitor applicable KPIs and take corrective actions to ensure Budget and internal business targets are met.
Manage and coordinate the automation system in the Factory (AGVs, Conveyor, Pallettizer and High bay warehouse) together with Service provider, monitoring their performance and following contract clauses and requirements
