    Job summary
    The Westin Excelsior Rome is recruiting for a Purchasing ManagerResponsible for all purchasing operations at the property levelRequires experience in a lead purchasing position within luxury hospitality

    associate level

    Responsibilities


    • Generate accurate and timely reports
    • Assure sanitation compliance
    • Order food and beverage based on business needs
    • Maintain budgeted food and controllable costs
    • Enforce inventory rotation and safety standards
    • Communicate with kitchen, restaurant management, and vendors
    • Check invoices against shipment to ensure accuracy
    • Maintain inventory controls
    • Complete period end inventory
    • Ensure price and product availability issues are communicated
    Requirements


    • Fluency in Italian and very good knowledge of English
    • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major
