For our Plant in Porcari (Lucca) dedicated to the Private Label division, we are looking for a
Line Leader who will reports to Operations Leader and will be responsible of the Lines assigned.

You will guarantee production according to the plan, respecting safety standards, quality, reducing costs, optimizing materials managing and developing people.

Improving machine efficiency and increasing people capability.


What you will do:


  • Lead daily direction setting meetings
  • Plan and execute pit stops and maintenance with support of Technical Group
  • Identify and suggest how to eliminate sources of contamination ( SOC)
  • Train his team according to the individual learning plan
  • Follow safety rules

Other duties and responsabilities:


  • Responsible for Service Level of lines, schedule lines according to agreed production plan
  • Executes quality checks on products, process checks (centerlining), CIL
  • Keep workplace standards as defined in the area of responsibility
  • With the support of maintenance planner and scheduler organises and executes maintenance activities in if down do, on the run and during down days
  • Defines skill matrix for his people, develop standards procedures and training material. Trains his team
  • Support his people while filling line report and logbook reporting any kind of defect identifying the problem, basic cause and countermeasure
  • Attend & Lead with process engineer the weekly meeting (WOM) to eliminate chronic losses. Collect any kind of data related to Machine efficiency, downtime, Quality etc
  • Executes yearly performance evaluation deploying goals and work and developing plans for his people
  • Organizes and executes daily pit stop
  • Owns the overall plan to close gaps on his lines in all SQCDM areas

Who you are:


  • High school diploma with technical specialization or Engineering degree
  • At least two / three years in Converting as Process Engineer or other similar roles
  • Knowledge about line process: Web Handling, Core making, Lamination, Rewinding, Packaging machines. Able to draw process, components, sensors.
  • Can operate on the machine, execute change overs, making basic repairs
  • Knowledge of Personal Safety and Machine Technical Safety, Chemicals Safety
  • Quality checks and systems
  • Cost administration
  • People management: Labour contract, Local agreement, 121, Goals setting and deployment
  • Knowledge about all standard operating procedures
  • Process Control: Centerline, CPE (Critical Process Equipment)
  • Knowledge of

TPM :
Autonomous maintenance, Progressive maintenance, Focused Improvement, 5S, SMED

  • Expert in creating CIL, CL and executing them
  • Knowledge of
office package, Outlook, Internet
