- Perform Stress Analysis Calculations, static and dynamic analysis.
- Select and adequately support piping systems from a standard library of Pipe Supports
- Generate and control of special pipe supports
- Assist and advise on the design of non-standard type pipe supports
- Review vendor package and equipment drawings for compliance with the project specifications
- Assist the Lead Piping Engineer in areas related to Piping Stress Analysis and Pipe Support
- Monitor and progress work fronts in specifically assigned areas
- Technically qualified to Bachelors degree level in a relevant discipline, and / or a Technical Qualification
- Good knowledge of Italian and English languages
- Availability to assignments

Wood is recruiting for an Senior Stress and Support Engineer to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries.
The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

The Role
You will report to the Lead Stress Engineer and you will perform Stress Analysis calculation and definition of Pipe Supports on the Projects. You will interact with Piping team and other Disciplines for the information's and documents flow.
