Context
Sales&Distribution Team is located in Parma warehouse.

Our main activities are:
S&D MERP data maintenance, Outbound shipments, Inbound Extra-EU shipments. We are also involved in many projects related to distributions and new product launches. We are working closely with the warehouse team and the production scheduling team. We have daily contact with Logistics Service Providers in Europe.


Project intern description

Support in the management of 0-2 weeks Shipping Plan

  • Shipping Plan Scheduling
  • Accountability meetings with Scheduling to align on priorities and create an optimised schedule considering transport and warehouse capacities.
  • Working closely with NPI Logistics Leads to put plans in place for despatch and distribution to achieve launch plans.
  • Liaising with LSP's to find expeditious solutions to manage supply whilst balancing cost and sustainability. Organising the prebooking of transport, assessing alternative modes of transport and playing a part in underbond shipments.
  • Monitoring Stock in Transit at LSP warehouse
  • Actively review and manage stock in transit stock through LSP's
  • Maintaining the Shipping Plan Schedule in the 02 weeks horizon and to ensure the Conformance to Ship.
  • Performance manage and drive improvement to metrics for Orders Right First Time and externally LSP service levels.

Support in Managing Site Invoicing activity

  • Manage market exceptions and ensure correct invoicing takes place.
  • Responsible for resolving and updating site invoice documentation via MERP. Trigger credit notes where applicable.
