The Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Training and Education team develops the therapy training and education strategies for the EMEA region.

To join our team, we are currently looking for a Digital Learning Specialist, who will support Western Europe (WE).


As a Cardiac Ablation Solutions Digital Learning Specialist, you will be in charge of implementing the Digital Training & Education strategy to ensure physicians and health care professionals are competent in using safely, effectively and efficiently the Medtronic products.

Leveraging the headquarters and country/regional Training and Education field force to ensure a proper execution of the Digital Educational strategy for the WE region.


A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop digital educational program to drive increasing customer competence & self-sufficiency.
  • Track outcomes of customer digital Training & Education programs.
  • Contribute by working with the Business Unit (BU) to develop the digital educational strategy.
  • Continuously identify and satisfy unmet customer/business partner educational needs.
  • Develop digital educational material/content to support implementation of key marketing strategies in alignment with the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Headquarters and Global.
  • Facilitate the implementation (and adaptation) of customer/business partner digital education programs at country level.
  • Support for the production of digital training material to be implemented on Medtronic websites.
  • Design and develop digital education content that supports BU marketing messages.
  • Develop and support internal digital education programs that are targeted to improve the competence and effectiveness of the field representatives (direct sales and distributor).
  • Consult and collaborate with curriculum coordinators to identify appropriate software and programs to support curriculum.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in technical, clinical related function or similar environment.
  • Learning Management System and eLearning Technology Experience.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and Digital curriculum design.
  • Learning technology skills content development (eLearn, video, interactive learning, gamification).
  • Knowledge of LMS (learning management system) technology to be able to support learning programs.
  • Previous experience with Totara, Panopto, Learning Locker and Zoom, or similar platforms.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in an international company/environment, ideally in the medical device industry.
  • Experience in working in a complex organization with different countries/cultures.
  • Ability and willingness to work in fast changing environment.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Results and quality oriented, initiative.
  • Focus on continuous learning.
  • Travel: approximative 30%.

Nice to Haves

  • Medical & technical knowledge preferably in the above Business Unit field.
  • Fluent in other languages is a plus.
