WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT DAY TO DAY


This People Partner & Executive Assistant role is a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic & career focused PP&EA to join the Poppi Team.

The role will be based at our regional office in Bari (Italy), which is one of the centres for excellence within the Crestview Group.

The PP&EA will provide support for effective and innovative HR Services to local Italian team.

The PP&EA will be supporting stakeholders to create a winning culture as a people champion in line with the larger Crestview global strategy.

He or she will support the development and execution of the Italian local people programs and ensure the delivery of best practice strategies and alignment to Poppi's culture and values.


He or she will have a proven track record of being a true adviser contributing to the growth and improvement of the business.

As a business partner they will have a broad experience in all aspects of generalist Human Resource practices, especially excellent knowledge of Italian labour law, statutory employer obligations, recruitment, employee relations and employee engagement, as well as some experience within training and development.


He or she will assists the Director with daily administrative duties and completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments and meetings, completing reports, composing and preparing correspondence, arranging travel plans, itineraries, agendas, compiling documents for meetings, objective tracking for the team.

Experience within working for agile, international businesses is essential as is fluency in both English and Italian.


DESIRED CRITERIA

  • At least 3 years in HR, officebased, or administrative role
  • Good interpersonal and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and customers
  • Previous experience working with PA / Executive level functions
  • Eligible to live and work in Italy
  • Availability to visit Crestview HQ in UK upon request
  • Knowledge of Office 365 software package
  • Professional HR qualification is highly desirable

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acting as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
  • Working closely with People Team in Lisburn and local team managers to help set roles & responsibility, including identifying top talent, and supporting local recruitment and selection activities
  • Liasing with external provider to proper execute and process Payslip activities
  • Ensuring employment policies and decisions are up to date and applied consistently and that they are aligned with best practice and up to date with Italian employment laws and changes
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex local people related issues
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of company policies, handbooks, initiatives, benefits and procedures
  • Supporting the cultural transformation, organizing engagement & developmental activities
  • Supporting managers with key employee relations in aspects of pay and reward, performance, attendance management, disciplinary & grievance issues
  • Assisting the Director with daily administrative duties and completing a broad variety of administrative tasks
  • Preparing written materials for documentation and conveying information
  • Consult and advise management on employment matters and to ensure compliance with local legal and administrative requirements
  • Maintaining and coordinating induction & staff training schedules as required
  • Ensure that accurate employee records and data is maintained
  • Assistance with administrative and transactional activities related to the employment life cycle and managed through our HRM platform
  • Supporting the administrative staff in project accountability managing office budgets
  • Managing purchase orders and suppliers' online accounts
  • Dealing with correspondence, shipments, complaints, and queries
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures related to office administrative systems
