    Descrizione

    Reporting to the Head of External Communication, Media Relations & CSR, the person delivers communication plans, projects and narrative with focus on Corporate, Wholesale Banking & CSR areas.
    Proactively proposes and promotes relations, narrative, and initiatives of visibility and positioning for defined topics and managers. The communication plans may include: PR visibility, external events participation, content strategy and narrative, presentations, third parties events, other initiatives useful to keep a good reputation and to position the assigned topics.
    The person teams up with other comms functions like: social media team for Linkedin visibility, media for paid PR, Internal Communication to guarantee consistency between internal and external messaging.

    In details the professional will be focused on:

  • contribution to the overall content strategy plan for the bank on the assigned topics
  • Corporate results: commercial quarterly results ING Italy and financial results support (focal point)
  • Wholesale Banking: focal point for WB to propose, coordinate and develop a comprehensive communication plan according to the growth ambition in Italy, teaming up with global WB functions, local WB team and other functions involved in the execution and leveraging on different communication outputs (. deals visibility and narrative, media relations, senior economist positioning, awards participation, other initiatives according to defined plan,
  • representing PR and external comm needs in media planning for the assigned topics, teaming up with the function in order to develop the best paid PR mix (if any) and contents to reach business goals
  • HR topics: teaming up with HR in the development of communications and initiatives to make ING a top employer, including D&I initiatives, employer branding support
  • Other corporate topics: support other functions communication according to priorities defined (. CX, CRO communications, external announcements of executives)
  • corporate presentations (. for external events participation)
  • update of corporate pages contents of (chi siamo, sostenibilità, mondo ING, and Newsroom
  • issue management support on assigned topics
  • sustainability & CSR: support to Job Digital Lab project with Fondazione Mondo Digitale and other global initiatives to position ING in the "Society" area of the ESG ambition

    • Requirements

  • at least 5-7 years of experience in 360° communication plans development leveraging on different channels and touchpoints (media relations, events, social media, special projects), in relevant companies, preferably but not necessary within the banking and financial area or in PR agencies with similar clients
  • background in economics and/or humanist subjects (preferably, but not necessary), curious, with strong interest in media, storytelling and news dynamics
  • interest to move and go deeper into a wide variety of topics: from corporate banking deals to sustainability strategies, to risk and HR
  • strong storytelling and communication capabilities (spoken and written)
  • strong ability to scout and build a compelling the narrative , to engage the audience and match different stakeholder communication needs in a creative and trustworthy way
  • strategic thinker and effective executor with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time and ability to take end-to-end accountability of the whole process
  • proactive and self-starter, team-player, open-minded, positive personality, able to engage stakeholders at different levels with enthusiasm and credibility
  • passion for new challenges and to go beyond the boundaries finding unexplored pathways and going for the extra-mile
  • strong team-player able to organize efficiently and to successfully interact with colleagues proving leadership
  • very good written and spoken English
