Job Purpose
The Site Engineering Lead has the best knowledge of the performance of the production equipment, follows timely the trending of available parameters and performs preventive and corrective interventions to support the best possible production outcome
Major Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the best performance and reliability of the production equipment, in particular for the cyclotron, the transfer system, the synthesis modules and the dispensing robot.
  • Exchange daily with the Country Engineering Manager, Site Manager and the production team on the results of the night production and immediately report experienced difficulties or out of trending to Engineering & Service.
  • Plan and perform maintenance depending on system parameters trending, equipment usage, calendar based or in case of failure and manage the order and storage of the required spare parts.
  • Manage your oncall availability, your working time, your radioactive dose exposure, your stress, your substitution in case of absence as well as resources which you need for your missions. Alert Country Engineering Manager of Italy and other responsible when experiencing difficulties.
  • Participate on the offered trainings, e.g. initial theoretical training in St. Genis Pouilly, practical training on Pozzilli and on other AAA sites, annual refresher training and learn in selfstudy. Give safety and technical training to Pharmacists, Maintenance Assistant and Production Technicians.
  • Contribute on planning your budget, execute your confirmed budget, report periodically and alert timely if your budget needs to be extended or can't be executed.
  • Take over the responsibility for Engineering and Service coordination tasks assigned to you, respect the agreed timelines and alert Country Engineering Manager of Italy when there is a potential risk not to respect agreed goals within the timeline

Minimum requirements

Experiences:

  • Education: Bachelors / Masters Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Automation technology or Nuclear Engineering& Physic
  • Languages: English fluently, verbally and in writing
  • No specific previous job experience required.
  • Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent artisanal experience in the use of tools and measurement devices.
  • Analytical technical expertise and reporting capabilities.
  • Advanced computer knowledge (MS Office, VBA, CAD, etc.).
  • Selfmanagement/responsibility as well as the ability to solve problems under
