- Design battery pack system architecture, leading the technical development of battery projects
- Calculation/design of electrical and mechanical HV switch-off devices, HV conductors (including HV connection technology), BusBar
- Sub-component fusing strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, specifications, and performance targets.
- Design and develop battery systems or sub-systems, ensuring functional, safe, and compliant solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technologies, materials, and components for battery systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to select and qualify battery components and subsystems.
- Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project progress.
- Technical education in Electric/Electronic Engineering or similar
- Minimum 2-3 years as a System/Architect Engineer within the automotive industry, previous experience in HV battery development is a strong plus
- Understanding of circuit design (both digital and analog), embedded circuits (SoCs, etc) and power electronics
- Experience in vehicle wiring and harnessing
- Understanding of Systems/Requirement Engineering & Tools (e.g. IBM DOORS, MicroFocus ALM)
- Experience 3D CAD (CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX) is a plus
- Communicative, team-oriented and assertive personality
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Vehicle development process knowledge
- Fluent in Italian and very good English knowledge
- Availability for occasional business trips
- EU citizenship or Full time Working Permit required
