Job Description Summary:

The Model & Requirements Leader is an exciting opportunity to drive the definition and integration of propulsion system demonstrators.

The Model and Requirements Leader will join the AMBER Systems team within the Advanced Technology Operations section.


AMBER is the new hybrid-electric technology demonstration program that will integrate the Catalyst engine with electrical power from fuel cells.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Be the leader for the AMBER propulsion system configuration of the different test vehiclesmaking sure they meet the demonstration objectives
  • Manage the evolution of the system configuration for different system demonstrations
  • Work with the AMBER Systems organization to ensure the program meetsthe execution and technical objectives defined on time andbudget
  • Lead the definition and completenessof the requirements for the program and system specification
  • Manage the flow down of requirements to different modules and disciplines
  • Contribute to the technologies and maturation roadmap of AMBER
  • Lead andsupport technical and program reviews
  • Present the results and findings to wide audiences from technicalexperts to executive leadership
  • Ensure compliance with best practicesand processes
  • Ensure proper documentation of all work

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited University; mechanical/aeronautical preferred
  • Significant experience on systems engineering and/or a variety of technical disciplines related to propulsion
  • Experience in Product Development of complex products/systems in very early phases from conceptual level through New Product Introduction phase
  • Aircraft integration and aircraft requirementsmanagement experience
  • Familiarity with Research and Technology developmentprocesses
  • Experience in different gas turbine modules/disciplinesand engine performance
  • Fluency in English
  • Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge ofproduct and configuration management processes for gas turbines or similar systems
  • Passionate about Aviation products and innovation
  • Practical knowledge of sustainabilitydriven technologies for aviation (hybridelectric systems, Hydrogen, SAF,)
  • Can do attitude capable to manage uncertainty andchanging environments
  • Experience working with crossfunctionalteams in a multinational environment
