    Job Description

    Job Summary:
    Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (WTS) is on the lookout for a skilled Engineering Service Sales Professional to help drive growth and progress in their Service business within Italy. In this position, you will focus on spotting and pursuing new business prospects, fostering strong connections with potential clients, and delivering customized service solutions to meet their requirements. Embodying Veolia's 5 core values – Responsibility, Solidarity, Respect, Innovation, and Customer Focus – is key in this role, all while advocating the company's value proposition and dedication to sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a sales strategy to expand Veolia WTS's Service business in the Italian market, emphasizing new customer acquisition and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Identify and pursue new business prospects by building solid relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored service solutions highlighting Veolia's value proposition and sustainable practices.
    • Work closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction levels.
    • Deepen understanding of the Italian water and wastewater treatment market, industry trends, and competitive landscape to establish Veolia WTS as a premier service provider.
    • Achieve challenging sales targets and contribute to the Service business's overall revenue goals.
    • Represent Veolia WTS at industry events and trade shows to showcase the company's service capabilities, sustainability efforts, and enhance its brand presence in the Italian market.
    • Collaborate with the European Sales Service Domain Leader to align Italy's service growth strategy with European-wide practices.
    • Utilize synergies within the broader Veolia group to provide comprehensive solutions and promote cross-selling to customers.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and business development, preferably in the water or environmental services sector.
    • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and contributing to business growth.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and develop strategic solutions.
    • Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
    • Willingness to travel extensively within Italy.
    • Customer service-oriented with a commitment to providing exceptional value to clients.
    • Knowledge of the Italian water and wastewater treatment market, regulations, industry trends, and sustainability practices is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with Veolia's broader service offerings and capabilities across the group.
