Role overview:

The Workforce Planning Analyst is responsible for partnering with the HR Business Partners and the Financial Business partners to collect strategic workforce demand, support the creation of headcount/job/capability plans and execute on those plans.

The WFP analyst monitors and provides insights on the global workforce planning and execution process.

You will teach and assist in the design processes as well as the recently redesigned standard processes to support a global workforce plan that drives the business strategy of IGT.

You will utilize company tools to provide workforce data-driven insights aimed at improving HR partners, Financial Partners, and Business leaders global workforce business decisions and workforce strategies.


Activities:


  • Partners closely with Financial Business Partners, Strategic Business Partners/HR Business Partners to make sure we have accurate workforce plans
  • Supports P&T partners in the use of the company's WFP tools that track plans vs actuals workforce counts and positions and provide guidance on the use of analytics and basic reporting.
  • Partners closely with FP&A to run our financial forecasts for talent and integrate cost planning into our approach.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition in the use of our WFP tools to inform recruiting priorities and capacity planning.
  • Supports P&T partners and Financial Partners in the definition of headcount plans leading to job counts that can be incorporated into our HR transactional system for position planning purposes.
  • Use scenario planning and trend analysis to predict the future state of positions (filled and open). Use these analyses to create plans that mitigate potential risks and pinpoint areas for investment.
  • Partner with Global People Services and HRBPs to ensure data integrity within the HR transactional system of record and WFP tools.
  • Collaborates with other CoEs (Talent Management, Total Rewards and D&I) to extract workforce insights from current industry or sector trends.
  • Develops story tellingdriven presentations to communicate workforce analytic insight and company results of workforce planning strategies
  • Teaches and champions our new Global Workforce planning process to HR, Finance and Business leaders
  • Helps create WFP process champions across the globe

Skills & Experience:


  • HR business partner experience preferred
  • Consulting experience preferred
  • Experienced with data analysis in excel
  • Familiar with Success Factors, and OrgVue data visualization tool ideal
  • 5+ years' experience in similar workforce planning role
  • Organized, independent, and proactive with a balanced temperament to be able to switch rapidly between different projects and competing priorities
  • Highly analytical thinker, proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and solutions simultaneously
  • Ability to quickly build effective working relationships and influence crossfunctional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to identify and articulate results of analysis in easytounderstand business terms
  • Comfortable with using storytelling to present analytical insights
  • Comfortable with designing KPIs, using dashboards to monitor them and teaching others how to use KPIs out of the dashboards to inform their decision making and workforce implementation plans
  • Strong data manipulation reporting and visualization tool skills to be able to facilitate analytics and scenario modelling
  • Ability to design and create process flows.
