    Where You Fit Together with your team you will support program partners (grantees) to develop effective strategies for systems change to advance gender equitable outcomes womens leadership and gender equality at scale while strengthening organizational capabilities to achieve lasting results; and contributing to improved learning and practice among partners at CoImpact in global development and philanthropy.

    Reporting to the Global and Latin America Director of Programs you will support the program team across multiple areas particularly the sourcing vetting and recommending of grants supporting program partners and project management during the design phase of their work.

    You will have a mix of grant management research team coordination projectmanagement and administrative responsibilities.

    You may be asked to support account leads across different grants and may be the team point person for critical crosscutting issues.

    You will need to demonstrate excellent organizational ability strong analytical skills and strategic instincts robust problemsolving skills excellent interpersonal and communication skills a high level of personal initiative and a kind and collaborative spirit and supportive approach including the ability to work well in a distributed diverse deepthinking and fastpaced environment.

    The Role

    Core responsibilities will include:
    Strategy Development and Implementation Supporting the Global and Latin America Program Director as a close thought partner in the development of the strategy ideating and executing priority specific strategy and plans (e.g. unpaid care climate change narrative work etc) and annual program plans.

    Identify trends areas of opportunity problem areas and other insights (around program partner support and sourcing of new ideas) and share with the Program Director on a regular basis to adapt plans accordingly.

    Making grants and managing the Global and Latin America portfolio.

    This includes having grantmaking experience assessing strategic alignment to ensure that the right organizations are identified accompanying potential Program Partners in proposal development and preparing grant recommendation memos guiding and supporting due diligence processes.

    All with key input from the Program Director and leadership to ensure movement through the grantmaking process in a seamless manner.

    Serve as account lead for a select number of grants.

    Providing support to Program Partners including thought partnership communicating clearly and in a timely fashion the expectations from a CoImpact grant accompaniment on organizational strengthening connections to other actors and collaborations across the LatAm portfolio and across regions.

    Support the Program Director and the Learning Measurement and Evaluation team to provide support to the Program Partners identifying research grant opportunities drawing out crosscutting themes and lessons and disseminating them and in measuring and tracking our impact at a meta level through the work of our Program Partners.

    Bring a feminist lens to CoImpacts system change approach throughout its operations:
    from organizational culture selection and support of Program Partners to our approach.

    Team Coordination and Representation Serve as a liaison and coordinator with other Coimpact teams to ensure flow and sharing of information and decision making for the region as needed and based on consultation with the Program Director.

    Represent Coimpact and the Program Director in important external meetings and convenings including building relations with regional funders in consultation with the Program Director.

    Support the team (Program Assistant and Program Managers) in their growth and development.

    Managing consultants including drafting Terms of Reference and Statements of Work management of relationships timelines deliverables and overall alignment with outcomes and strategies.

    Help foster a culture in line with CoImpact values and serve as a trusted colleague that demonstrates organizational values (outcomesfocused program partnercentered; beginners mindset; draw from unity in diversity and build trusting partnerships.) Perform other reasonable responsibilities and duties as requested by the Program Director.

    Qualifications 10 plus years professional experience and extensive knowledge of advancing gender equality (with a feminist and intersectional lens) and at least one of our areas of sectoral focus (education health and economic opportunity).

    Significant experience working directly with seniorlevel staff. Experience in grantmaking lived experience and knowledge of Latin American context and linkages to feminist/womens rights networks strongly preferred. Track record of increasing responsibility.

    Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant area (preference to specialty in Education Health and/or Economics with focus on gender studies gender and development international womens rights sociology and similar degrees.) At least 5 years of experience managing a team and mentoring staff to deliver strong results within a positive work culture.

    Prior experience in client service/consulting roles may also be helpful. Prior exposure to an array of different working contexts stakeholders etc. Fluency in English and a second language (Portuguese and/or Spanish required). Right to work in Mexico or Brazil (as we are unable to sponsor a visa).

    Fluency in English as well as at least one other major language spoken in Latin America (Spanish and/or Portuguese)

    The salary for this role is US $150000 per year (paid out in local currency where applicable) plus a generous benefits package including a significant allowance for paid time off.
