Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Branch General Manager to lead and expand our operations in Shanghai, driving business growth and strengthening our presence in the Chinese market.

This is a full-time position based in Shanghai.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Leading and managing the local branch, ensuring operational and commercial excellence
Defining and executing strategic business plans aligned with corporate objectives
Driving sales growth and expanding market share in China
Managing key customer relationships and developing new business opportunities
Overseeing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring
Coordinating with headquarters and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and performance
Representing the company in the local market, fostering strong relationships with partners and stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience in a senior management or branch leadership role
Strong background in business development, sales strategy, and market expansion
Mandatory experience in the power transmission sector (e.g., gearboxes or related technologies)
Solid understanding of the Chinese industrial market and business culture
Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese is considered a strong asset
Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze KPIs, budgets, and profit & loss statements
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills
Results-driven mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and international environment
