The role of the Content and Learning Development Manager is intended to support the business strategy by developing and implementing high-impact programs in line with the Accreditation Systems adopted by Istituto Marangoni.


The aim is to collaborate in an effective and innovative way with the Directors of Education, Program Leaders and external stakeholders creating an increasingly broad and adherent educational offering to the Fashion, Design and Art market.


The expertise of the role also involves being able to design with the academic methodology, new contents always using the support of external stakeholders from the field of our interest.


Key purpose of the role

  • Support the Head of Academic designing, monitoring and renewing the academic offer identifying content gaps through a strict collaboration with Directors of Education and Programme Leaders at Group level
  • Provide uptodate timely necessary academic information trying to anticipate potential critical aspects at the Group level
  • Ensure adherence of the course content to quality standards and procedures of Accreditation Systems adopted by Istituto Marangoni Schools (UK
  • Regent's London University, Italy
  • AFAM, etc. )
  • In collaboration with the Directors of Education and Program Leaders, ensure the quality and timely development of academic documents, such as: Programme Specifications, Unit Specifications, Programme Handbooks, as well as unit descriptors, plans of study and schemes of work where necessary
  • Support the Head of Academic in the definition of the academic course content (curriculum)
  • Collaborate with sales, communication and Alumni & Industry Relationship departments writing promotional text aims to satisfy plan marketing and advertising needs and initiatives for programs offered.

Education & Skills

  • Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Study, Creative study areas
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning Design / Instructional Design
  • Solid knowledge of contemporary educational strategies
  • Superb written communication skills
  • Ability to source and utilize verified information to create courses
  • Adherence to clients' learningrelated requests
  • Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English language. Any other foreign language knowledge is a plus
  • Personal skills: ability to work under pressure, flexibility to travel, teamwork skills, commercial approach, proactivity and strategic mindset, organisation and attention to details
