  • Job description
  • As Area Manager you will respond to the Commercial Director. Your area of responsibility will be Northwestern Italy including Piemonte, Val d'Aosta and the main part of Lombardia, with a specific focus on Milano. You will manage a sales force of 8 agents (growing to a team of 13). Your responsibilities will span from formulating business development strategies to ensuring operational efficiency and financial success to achieve sales and pricing goals in your area.

Responsibilities:


  • Formulate business development strategies to ensure longterm success.
  • Set standards and objectives.
  • Lead a sales team, help them plan their activities and motivate them to reach sales targets
  • Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficient collaboration with the customers (pharmacies)
  • Undertake financial management to ensure the pharmacies are profitable and stay within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
  • Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions.
  • Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it.

Profile:


  • 45 years' experience as an area manager or similar with team management
  • Pharmacy or Healthcare background is mandatory
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
  • Digital and computer skills
  • Exceptional communication, leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation
  • Excellent Italian and English
