We are looking for a MGSE DESIGNER.

The MGSE Designer develop the following activities:

Study and define the overall MGSE (H/W & S/W) architecture
Prepare MGSE (H/W & S/W) Technical and Procurement Specification and SOW
Create 3d catia model for mgse for programs and facilities within Space rules and laws
Generation of 2D parts drawings in CATIA
Generation of 2D assembly drawings in CATIA
Generation of required model for thermal and mechanical analyses inputs
Participate to procurement process (Supplier Selection)
Define and consolidate budget for MGSE procurement
RdA Emission
Monitoring of MGSE procurement (Design Reviews and Acceptance Test Reviews)
Ensure Availability of MGSE according to AIT schedule
Ensure MGSE /H/W and S/W)Validation on site
Support CAM and ait Mgr for Cost & Schedule control as applicable for MGSE procurement

Requirements for the position

High School Diploma (Aeronautical or mechanical specialization) preferred, Mechanical engineering

degree (or equivalent)

Good knowledge and experience of 3D CAD tools (CATIA preferred) for Mechanical Design
Knowledge of relevant drawing standards
Knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing best practice
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (metals and composites) and how these affect design.

The following would be an asset:

Experience of working in a multi-discipline team environment with project pressures.
Experience within a similar field, automotive or aerospace
Experience with CATIA V5, Femap, Nastran, Patran
5 and more years of experience in related field
