Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.


The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).


Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.


Position:


Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026's
Games Technology Team takes Olympic and Paralympic Games ideas from concept through launch to operations and support.

You will work for the worldwide athletes and fans


The Games Technology team manage a wide range of technology services including: Applications to support the corporate and games related operations, Venue Technology services to deliver and govern the IT related hardware and services in each single competition and non-competition venues, Cyber Security to ensure the games runs in secure and controlled environment, infrastructure to build, manage, and operate the games network, Results Services to make sure competition timing and scoring systems are reliable and efficient.


The
Games Technology ICT Infrastructures Area and the Games Venue Technology Area are responsible for governance, management, integration, delivery, and operations of the Information and TLC Infrastructures to support the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics Games, from the IT Workstations, to the centralized cloud infrastructure and IT Infrastructures services coordination, to the Local, Regional and National TLC networking, the TLC Broadcasting Infrastructure, the wired and mobile infrastructure, and also all the Venues technologies like result scoring, audio and video infrastructures, etc.

The activities are mainly managed through designated Service providers.

The Infrastructure unit should orchestrate and cooperate with all the providers and involved stakeholders, to drive the delivery of the technology infrastructure solutions.


Our services are located in the main HeadQuarters and also in the Venue locations that include more than 20 sites divided in 4 clusters : Milano City, Bormio/Livigno, Val di Fiemme and Cortina area, divided in two major categories: competition and non-competition venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall planning, design, delivery, implementation, testing, operation, decommissioning and reinstatement of all technology services and solutions required at their assigned competition or noncompetition venue(s).
  • Contribute to the detailed venue design and overlay planning process for their venue(s), ensuring that the technical and operational spaces, equipment, power, containment, and structures required by Technology are incorporated into venue designs.
  • Actively participate in event operational planning and technology allocation design sessions with other functional areas to record their technology requirements and create space layouts, ensuring that they can be delivered within the constraints of the project.
  • Develop effective working relationships with incumbent event teams, the event overlay team, event general managers, sport competition managers, broadcaster manager, timing and scoring manager and other key venue stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Technology partners & suppliers, other functional areas, and incumbent event teams to maintain a detailed installation schedule for their assigned venue(s), identifying priorities and ensuring that they are understood by all stakeholders.

Requirements:


Technology Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field with equivalent knowledge
  • Two or more years of experience in supporting successful delivery in Business Analysis (or equivalent role) across full project lifecycle
- at least 5 years of experience in supporting successful project delivery in Event organization.
