The Role:

As an Analyst, you will work beside some of the industry's top consultants and life companies.

You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results.

These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise while you benefit from one of the industry's most comprehensive actuarial training and development programs.


Activity:


Serve as senior analyst on projects, including:

  • Creating project plans, monitoring progress to deadlines and budget
  • Ensuring appropriate and effective communication among team members and the client
  • Deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectation
  • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes using our innovative software solutions Unify
  • Lead substream and/or project manage Life actuarial implementation projects in our leading actuarial software RAFM (new version of MoSes) to develop financial projections of clients' life insurance business
  • Contribute to / lead workstreams of Life projects such as M&A, Capital Management, Financial Reporting (IFRS 17), Solvency II, etc.
  • Prepare result documentation, reports etc. ready for final review by the Project leads
  • Seek and participate in key learning and development opportunities covering various innovative topics in the life area, such as IFRS 17, various innovative software solutions (e.g. RAEC), Customer LifeTime

People

  • Build and nurture strong personal relationships internally and with client representatives
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
  • Support the Rome based seniors acting as a mentor and role model

Clients

  • Contribute to the sales and marketing efforts by drafting proposals, presentations and responding to RFPs, preparing budget estimates
  • Support our Client Relation Directors in account management work, by supporting in preparing client plans, preparing internal and external support material, etc.

The Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required degree in computer science, actuarial science, mathematics, physics or equivalent
  • Knowledge of C++, Python, R or similar are a valuable and privileged element
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Some related experience including developing and projecting actuarial models using actuarial software and insurance knowledge of various life products
  • Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way
  • Natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
  • Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues; strong client service orientation
  • Ability to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fastpaced environment
