About Our Client:


Our client is a leading Italian manufacturing company in the durable goods industry with a complete control of the whole value chain, from R&D and production, to logistic and a large retail network.

The General Manager will have the main following responsibilities:

  • Support the Board in defining a coherent and value-added development strategy throughout the supply chain, optimising profitability.
  • Supervising all the company functions including Sales, Operations and Logistic, Finance, HR, and Foreign markets;
  • Collaborate in the definition of sustainable internationalisation policies in the long term.
  • Contribute to the identification of a consistent organisational structure.
  • Bring strategicoperational thinking aimed at products, channels, markets and customer's vision development.
  • Define business development guidelines, acting as a source of stimulus and showing a broad understanding of the market and macro trends.
  • Take care of the Company's image and relations with Customers and Stakeholders, ensuring an effective and correct brand positioning.
  • Guarantee the implementation of the defined business strategy, leading the longterm value creation and ensuring the achievement of business targets and working on organisation and processes
  • Ensure an effective change management process in compliance with the organisation and its defined goals.
  • Develop efficient and functional production processes that support the «customercentric» business model.
  • Represent the point of reference between the BoD and the rest of the organisation.
  • Manage the assigned resources, ensuring their growth and development and representing a point of reference and stimulus for all the Functions.
  • Define and supervise processe optimisation and the correct understanding and implementation of procedures.

The Successful Applicant:


  • University degree, preferably in Economics or Engineering or equivalent culture;
  • Proven experience in similar roles, gained within evolved and structured environments and large organisation;
  • Strong knowledge of production and sales dynamics, preferably within international contexts, with particular attention to the Retail channel;
  • Ability to develop strategic thinking consistent with company's goals and ambitions;
  • Good level of energy, sensitivity and Business Vision;
  • Effective communication skills at different levels, with the ability to compare and relate with several stakeholders, including external ones;
  • Able to analyse problems, summarise solutions and make decisions;
  • Collaborative leadership, guided by ethics and values;
  • Fluency in English and Italian is required.
