Who you are and what you will do:

We are looking for a hands on personality who takes responsibility for on-site maintenance, control system management and continuous improvement engineering activities.

You will support the Head of Site & Operations in all aspects of engineering including the proxies that will be assigned to you by the Site manager.


Following skills are needed for this role:

  • Engineering Degree in relevant discipline (Electrical /Mechanical/ Chemical) or working towards.
  • Experience of working in maintenance engineering / chemical processing environment.
  • Industrial safety experience.
  • Contract management experience (Maintenance).
  • Computer literate with Excel, Project and CMMS, Autocad.
  • Work in a team and achieve concrete goals.
  • Very good English and excellent Italian language skills, verbal and written.

Additional skills that might be useful for this role:

  • An excellent understanding of the pressurised equipment directive and its requirements
  • Experience in maintaining high pressure gas systems and of pressurised liquefied gas systems
  • Have a detailed understanding of relevant industry standards TPED, SIL, COMPEX etc.
  • Understanding of chemical processing technique and basics of thermodynamic
  • PLC / HMI program experience
  • Multidisciplinary knowledge (electrical, mechanical, chemical).
  • Electrical and/or mechanical apprenticeship
  • Residence or domicile in the area adjacent to the site
