What you will do

  • Guarantee medicalscientific information to specific targets.
  • Development of presence in the assigned areas.
  • Achievement of the commercial objectives assigned through the optimal management of activities.
  • Presence in the operating room for brand product consultancy.
  • Develop and implement robust and effective account plans and ensure delivery to agreed timescales against key performance indicators, including performance management of multiple projects in line with identified objectives.
  • Work with internal peers and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of account plans, overcome any obstacles, and ultimately exceed targets.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with relevant customers and support them appropriately for the good of the patient, the customer and the company.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics.
  • Maintain high levels of disease area within surgical specialty and continue to build your technical product knowledge.
  • Take a proactive approach for maintaining your clinical expert knowledge and your personal development plan and attend relevant training programs to sustain this.
  • Embed Compliance Culture across all areas of the business ensuring Integrity in Action is actively applied in all initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to the company policies relating to Ethics and Compliance standards.
  • Efficiently and effectively manage local budgets according to local business plans, customer needs and changing business needs.
  • Ensure that all administration tasks are completed and targets are met
  • Project plans, CRM system, expenses, customer records etc.
  • Reporting and sales accountability to our National Sales Manager.

What you will need

  • BA, ideally within Life Science; Biology, Pharmacy, etc. (D.Lgs. 219/06).
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Experience of working in hospitals and theatres and observing surgical procedures is essential.
  • Experience in selling both Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices is preferred.
  • Experience in presentation and liaising with potential clients such as KOLs, Head of Hospital departments, hospital pharmacy, procurement etc.
  • Established relationships with hospitals within the assigned region would be an asset.
  • Demonstrate ability to rapidly understand and communicate technical information and clinical data.
  • Successful track record in exceeding sales targets in pharmaceutical or medical devices sales.
  • High customer orientation and sense of urgency.
  • Independent and results driven to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Business / Commercial oriented.
  • Good IT skills such as proficiency in the window package, eLearning and CRM systems. Ability to learn fast new systems and tools.
  • Team orientation.
  • Driver's license.
  • This role is field (home) based and travel can be expected within the region. Manual handing of the demonstration equipment and transportation to theatres and training rooms is required.
