We are looking for a Subsidiaries Controller to join our Finance team.

Reporting to the Group Budget & Financial Controlling Manager, he/she will be responsible for accounting and business audit of a package of subsidiaries of the Group.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Analyze the financial reports sent monthly from the subsidiaries (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow) for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements:
Analyze on a monthly basis the results of the subsidiaries, checking the correctness of the accounting, in compliance with the national and international accounting principles;
Monitor the deviation between actual, budget and forecast;
Check the financial KPI's with the transactional/statistical details (sales, purchasing, warehouse, human resources, aging);
Analyze the trend of the main financial KPI.
Visit the subsidiaries for activities of general and internal auditing and also for business reviews.
Build and define the budget and forecast plans of the subsidiaries.
Analyze business plans and business cases to support the operative management in decision making process

EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering, Economy or equivalent work experience preferred;
At least 10 years of previous experience in similar position in multinational company or in auditing firm;
Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Knowledge of ERP systems (Axapta) and operational software (Tagetik, Qlikview) is preferred;
Knowledge economic, patrimonial and financial;
Base knowledge of the accounting principles, local (GAAP) and international (IAS/IFRS);
Goaloriented, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines;
Strong organizational and communicational skills;
Fluent in Italian and English, spoken and written.
