Position:

Within the Global Retail Excellence and Sales Training team, we are looking for the Leather Good Accessories Training Manager.

The talent will be responsible of the whole Accessories (Large Leather goods, small leather goods, têxtile) and related Selling Ceremony/Skills training development process, from the concept to the design, realization and deployment of sales trainings to the local sales trainers and retail staff in order to build and strengthen awareness on the category, boost confident and thus impact the performance of the category


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for initiating new training modules and updating existing ones considering new launches, the repositioning of our Icons and the focus on craftsmanship
  • Create new blended learning modules and tools (elearning, training presentation & package, retention quiz, training guidelines, follow up activities) for Local Sales Training and retail teams with the aim of optimizing the performance of our sales force.
  • Manage the whole training material development process, blending Business Units and pressrelease contents, inspiration, storytelling with clear benefits for the client.
  • Define the yearly category training calendar together with the Business Unit and work on retroplanning and organize the activities in order to meet the deadlines & Advise the director of the department on the training budget needs
  • Ensure the delivery of these training courses to the Local sales trainers during Train The Trainers and Liaise with them regularly in order to maintain a close relationship and ensure that they are fully equipped for local facilitation
  • Collect on an ongoing basis feedback from local sales trainers/markets to identify the training needs and suggest improvements on training tools & Develop and follow up action plans related to mystery shopping and customer satisfaction feedback
  • Develop close contacts with a wide range of internal contacts (Marketing teams, Communication teams, Business unit, Operations), external contacts (Training providers, Instructional designer consultant, digital service providers, graphic designers, etc.).

Profile:


Qualifications/Professional Competencies

  • Business school graduate or have equivalent university qualifications with at least 3 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of readytowear/leather goods.
  • An aptitude for digital and blended learning and a good command of training techniques offsite and digital paired with selling and communication techniques.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills English is mandatory. Fluency in a second language would be a plus.
  • Having has an experience in sales is highly appreciated.
  • Proficiency in the Office pack (mainly Power Point, excel) / Canva
  • Photoshop and Illustrator would be a plus
