Barilla is looking for a Global Consumer & Shopper Engagement professional within the Group Marketing, based in our Headquarters in Parma.

The individual will report to the Group Brand Activation & Consumer Engagement Senior Manager.


Brief Description

Within the Center of Expertise (CoE) for Consumer & Shopper Engagement the individual will act as the referent for Global Marketing team and Marketing Community.


S/he will be responsible for:
- supporting the deployment of the Brand Communication Strategies for Global Brands through the definition of global engagement plans that will feed the Toolkit;
- supporting the issuing of Promotional Guidelines (targeted both to Shoppers and Consumers) for Local Brands
- developing the Identity of Branded Merchandise for main Brands both Global and Local.


Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities for Consumer Engagement:

  • Definition of Consumer Engagement Global Guidelines (Toolkit), together with the head, to support business needs in particular with focus on promotional plans and Loyalty Activites. The Guidelines will show how to create a Promotion, starting from the needs of the Market (brief), designing the activities and recommending the most suitable engagement platform.
  • For Local Brands, define activities inline with the promo strategy, and support local Marketing with best practices to address execution. Contribute in building a CRM strategy compliant with Privacy Policy and in line with digital strategies.
  • Build a strong relationship with Local Marketing (across all the countries) and provide guidelines to accomplish local business needs.
  • Feed Think Tank: Create and feed a Repository that collects what is going on in the Markets. Analyze trends on Engagement activities in order to individuate new tools and concepts. Collect case histories from the Local Mktg in order to facilitate Best Practices's sharing across all the Countries.

Responsibilities for Branded Merchandise development:

  • Support the definition of Branded Merchandise catalogues, designed to best embed Brands values, for most important Global and Local Brands,.
  • Deal with creative Agencies for design definition; actively cooperate with the Purchasing Dept, and Vendor Assurance to guarantee legal and quality compliance.
  • Recommend the most suitable choice for local instore/value Consumer Promotions (i.e. branded prizes for contest, loyalty programs ).
  • Support the creation of winwin partnership with other instrategy Brands and Designers to leverage on wellknown product image in order to identify more and more attractive prizes over time.

Qualifications

  • MSc degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Marketing experience, with proven experience in Promotion management;
  • Deeprooted digital knowledge and experience
  • Project management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work in a crossfunctional team and multicultural environment
  • Ability to work both with long and shortterm perspective, mixing strategic thinking with daybyday execution
  • Demonstrate a high degree of initiative
  • Curios, acute observer, passionate, dynamic and openmind approach in moving forwards and find out new solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • English fluency, spoken and written, is mandatory.
